Hello everyone. Just wanted you to know that I have been working on several cards and projects with Stampin Up products. I am new at blogging but going to try it anyway and see what happens. Here are the backpack instructions.
Backpack Instructions
Cardstock 8 1/2 x 11 Color of your choice to match your DSP
Cut cardstock to 10 1/4 x 5 1/4
Score on Short side at 3 1/2
Score on long side at 3, 4 3/4, 7 3/4, 9 1/2
Cut bottom score lines up to 3 1/2 line
Cut off thin rectangle tab on end
Back Front Flap 2 15/16 x 2 1/2
Score at 1/2, l on short side
Pocket 3 x 2
Score at 1/4, 1/2 on 3 sides only (start on long side)
Pocket Flap 2 x 1 1/2
Score at 1/4, 1/2 on short side
Round flaps by using a circle to trace on ends that are not scored. Make sure your DSP is held to your cardstock when cutting the curve.
Fold and burnish all score lines.
Cut Dsp for Front of Backpack 3 x 3 1/2
Front Flap 2 15/16 x 2
Pocket 2 x 1 1/2
Pocket Flap 1 x 2
Glue all DSP pieces to front of their matching parts.
Mark inside of bag with pencil mark 1 inch down from top and 1 inch in from edge. Then mark 1 inch up from bottom 3 1/2 score line and 1 inch
in from edge. Mark at 2 inch line down and 1 inch down. Mark from 3 1/2 score line up 1 inch and 2 inch line. Punch holes with small hole punch
for inserting of your ribbon for backpack straps. Cut your ribbon about 7 inches long. Insert straps and tape to inside of backpack.
